Technology – Compatible dictation devices

Digitally recorded voice files using a proprietary brand digital recorder (such as the Olympus DS-5000) can be easily recorded and uploaded securely to OzeScribe.

You can also use our iPhone app or your mobile/landline phone.

OzeScribe is compatible with the iPhone and iPad

"Mobile" for smartphones with Windows OS is available—just enquire!

Mobile is software that runs on Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and cell phones. Once configured to a physician, the Mobile application allows providers to sync the PDA or Phone with the OzeScribe Servers. During the sync process, appointments are downloaded, and the physician can create new dictations for the patients on his schedule, or for any patient.

Additionally, transcriptions are available for review by the physician on his mobile device. For the Windows version, prior transcriptions for scheduled patients can be reviewed. For the iPhone version, the provider can review transcriptions that are in the preliminary folder, and complete transcriptions from the workflow.

Mobile devices that have wireless access can use Wi-Fi networks or cell phone networks for the sync process. Windows devices can also sync over a USB connection using ActiveSync 4.5 (Windows XP) or Windows Mobile Device Centre (Windows Vista or greater).

Digital voice files can be sent 24/7/365 from anywhere - home, hospital, clinic or even while "on the road"
